Photograph of Christmas dinner at Midnight Mission, Los Angeles, 25 December 1927. Also dated 17 January 1931. "received Examiner reference library, Jan. 20, 1931" -- stamped on verso. Legible signs in the background read "Judge not and ye shall not be judged, forgive and ye shall be forgiven", "Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter", "West Coast Life Insurance Company, Mon. 26", "God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son for the intent, that none that believe in him, should perish: but should have everlasting life", "Be not afraid, only believe, Mark 5:36 God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able".... The Midnight Mission's founder, Tom Liddecoat is standing to the left of the woman in glasses.
