Photograph of trees and a path in Placerita Canyon, the site of gold discovery in 1842, ca.1900-1940. Trees with thin trunks can be seen in the foreground partially obscuring the background. What appears to be a wide dirt path is visible at right just beyond the trees, while large, full trees can be seen on a small incline in the background.
