Description
The Irvington Branch of the Alameda County Library is housed in this building at 328 Broadway, which was formerly the home of the town's first station agent, William H. Mack, who also served as the second postmaster. The house was built in 1861, the first two-story home in Irvington. The south portion is now occupied by Mack's granddaughter, Mrs. Anna Van Buskirk.
