Gift med Ingeborg Estrup Paaskesen, 1962. Udsendt af DMS til Tanzania, 1960. Arbejdsområde: Leder og underviser på Igabiro Landbrugsskole, 1961-69. Afslutter i DMS 1970. Ansat som videnskabelig assistent ved KVL, 1970-75, dr. agro. 1974 – på afhandling om jordbundsforhold i West Lake regionen, Tanzania. Udsendt af Danida som Ass. Professor ved University of Dar es Salaams afdeling i Morogoro, 1975-78. Herefter ansat som lektor i jordbundslære på KVL indtil pensionering, dog afbrudt af et ophold som Ass. Professor ved Ahmadou Bello University i Nigeria, 1984-86 - for EU, Hedeselskabet (DDH) og KVL. Jens Peter Møberg skrev mange betydelige publikationer, kendt på verdensplan. For sin indsats har han modtaget sølvmedalje fra Det Kgl. Danske Videnskabernes Selskab. Jens Peter Møberg døde i 2011. (Foto 1966)

Jens Peter Møberg, b. 1928. Graduate from The Royal Veterinary & Agricultural High School (KVL), 1955. MSc. in Soil Science, Berkeley, California, 1958. School of Mission, Maywood, Illinois, 1958-59. Institute of Social Studies, Haag, Holland, 1965-66. Married to Ingeborg Estrup Paaskesen, 1962. Sent by DMS to Tanzania, 1960. Working area: Head and teacher at the Igabiro Training Institute of Agriculture, 1961-69. Following return to Denmark, employed by KVL as research assistant, 1970-75. Doctor of Agriculture 1974 – on Thesis of soil conditions in the West Lake Region, Tanzania. Sent by Danida as assistant professor of the University of Dar es Salaam's branch in Morogoro, 1975-78. Again, until retirement, employed by KVL as lecturer of soil science, however, interrupted by assignment by EU, DDH & KVL, as ass. professor of the Ahmadou Bello University in Nigeria, 1984-86. Jens Peter Møberg is the author of several significant publications, well known worldwide. For his contributions, he has received the Silver Medal of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters.
