Description
Photograph of a man putting wood in an outdoor cookstove, ca.1930. To the right of center, a man in a darkly colored suit kneels down while using his right hand to adjust a piece of firewood in the brick stove in front of him. The stove on the left has a large rectangular base that juts out from the smoke chute. The flat cooking platform in the center sits low to the ground with a place for burning materials on the bottom and a thick metallic looking layer for cooking above that. Palm trees, high grass, and shrubs are visible in the background.
