Description
Photograph of an architectural plan drawing of the Mission San Gabriel Arcangel, ca.1900. The mission is shown from above, its main building a long rectangle with what has been marked in the key as stone walls, listed as the Nave. Inside the perimeter, the pulpit is identified to the left, while a door that has been walled-up with adobe is pictured to the right, along with the steps to the choir. Above, an open area with rough shapes that seem to indicate bushes is labeled 'Cemetery'. The bapistry, sacristy and modern chapel are all shown as well.
