Description
A path leads up through a vineyard, to a one-story building with "Sunny Slope" painted along the upper front, on the Sunny Slope ranch owned by L. J. Rose in San Gabriel, California. A woman and horse-drawn carriage stand next to building.
Title derived from Watkins New Series stereo #4812. Date devised by cataloger; Watkins made two trips to Southern California, in 1877 and 1880. Written in pencil on the back: "Sunny Slope / owned by L.J. Rose / located between San Pasqual & Santa Anita Ranchero. / Stern & Rose registered distillers / same photo see acc. #492 C. E.
