Photograph of an exhibit of pottery including some from Indian cliff dwellers, 1895. The sixteen items shown include bowls, jars, ladles, dishes, and cups. Some of the objects are vividly painted. The objects are exhibited on a three-tiered table covered with a cloth, outside. Grades of pottery from prehistoric to "modern" displayed as follows: "modern" pueblo pottery (lower tier), ancient pueblo pottery (middle tier), ancient cliff dweller pottery (top tier). Part of the wall, doorway, and window of a wooden building in front of which the display is set up is visible behind. From an exhibit of the Wetherill Collection.
