It was the 'driving over' of the ground with a new '64 Cadillac. Participating in the unique ceremony were Robert Merritt, president, Northridge Chamber of Commerce; Monte [sic] Montana, honorary mayor and veteran movie performer; H. E. Niven, Cadillac zone manager, and Neill Lehr of the North Valley agency." The article partially reads, "A new show-case for Cadillac cars in the fast-growing Northridge area of the San Fernando Valley will be erected by Neill Lehr Cadillac in the 8400 block, Reseda Blvd., near Roscoe Boulevard. The present Neill Lehr Cadillac dealership on San Fernando Road in the city of San Fernando will be transferred to the new facilities when completed, probably early in the new year."
