In this letter, Yukio Mochizuki refers to an article that appeared in the "Rafu Shimpo," a Japanese language newspaper in Los Angeles California. The article states that the Peruvian government sent a list of those Japanese Peruvians that were brought to the United States to be interned. Mochizuki requests the list of names of those Japanese people evacuated from Peru. He also asks for the names and addresses of those ex-Peruvian Japanese who contacted the Japanese Consulate. Collection of notes, articles, correspondence, photographs, and term papers collected by Yukio Mochizuki, a student at CSU Dominguez Hills, while researching Japanese American incarceration and Japanese Peruvian internment during World War II.
