Old cypress trees forming an avenue at Naglee Park. Brigadier General Henry Morris Naglee purchased land in San Jose in 1858. Naglee collected rare plants and hired a landscape architect to plan his country estate. The estate was subdivided in 1902 and it is now known as the neighborhood, Naglee Park.
