Ruth and Jens Kristian Egedal, sent by Danish Santal Mission as managers of the Leprosy Hospita Ruth og Jens Kristian Egedal var udsendt af Dansk Santalmission som ledere ved Spedalskhedshospitalet i Nilphamari, Bangladesh, 1980-87. En periode, hvor det bl.a. med bistand fra Danida blev muligt at udbygge DBLMs arbejde for de spedalske. Sygeplejerske og jordemoder Ruth Frost har desuden været udsendt til klinikarbejde i Øst Pakistan/Bangladesh, 1969-73 - midt i en politisk ustabil periode med borgerkrig og oprettelse af det nye, selvstændige land, Bangladesh. Her mødte hun sin senere ægtefælle, diakon og sygeplejerske Jens Kristian Egedal, som var udsendt af DSM/FKN i 1972, til genopbygningsarbejde efter krigen i 1971

Ruth and Jens Kristian Egedal, sent by Danish Santal Mission as managers of the Leprosy Hospital in Nilphamari, Bangladesh, 1980-87. With assistance from the Danish Government, Danida, a period with expansion and development for the benefit of more leprosy people. - Also earlier, Nurse and Midwife Ruth Frost was sent to clinic work at East Pakistan/Bangladesh, 1969-73 - during the political unstable period with civil war and founding of the new, independent country, Bangladesh. Here she met with her later husband. Deacon/Nurse Jens Kristian Egedal was sent by DSM/FKN to assist with reconstruction after the War in 1971.
