Description
The photograph was taken at Alpha Beta Food Market on 245 N. Los Robles and is of the bakery display by Swift and Company. There is group of three women and a man behind the counter. The displays contain fresh pastries and on the shelf in the background there are coffee cakes and cookies as well as tops for wedding cakes. We find the Alpha Beta Food Market listed in the 1951 Pasadena City Directory.
