Description
A conversation with members and organizers of The Mission Rebels, Inc., a neighborhood club formed in the Mission district of San Francisco. The Rebels, who were based on Shotwell Street, led direct organizing efforts for rent control in the Mission and decried US military intervention in Vietnam. Speakers are the Reverend Jesse James and Ray Towbis, who helped establish the Rebels; Olga Weir, secretary for the Mission Rebels; and Luis Marcial, youth member. Interviewer is Al Silbowitz.
