Description
Vipul and Gopi Sheth lived in Santa Rosa's Fountaingrove neighborhood. They escaped with almost nothing as the flames consumed the hills on the other side of Rincon Valley. Their daughter, Rhea, was away at school and learned about the fires from a friend in Pennsylvania. A year later, they are rebuilding their home, but are still dealing with the aftereffects. This video includes introduction by Chris Smith; interviews, Phyllis Rosenfield and Chris Smith; video producer, Evan Johnson; translation, Margaret McMillen. Video and transcripts in English and Spanish also available on Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/cstr_vid_000318; and from Listening for a Change's Fire Projects: http://listeningforachange.org/fire-projects/
