Description
The historic toll house at the Bidwell Bar, Butte County, suspension bridge is being dismantled for removal to a state park site. The present site will be inundated by the Oroville Dam reservoir. At work on the 110 year old building yesterday were C. C. Pettit and James Davidson, both of Oroville, Butte County. Later the bridge will be dismantled and it and the Mother Orange Tree, also at the site will be moved to new locations outside the flooded area.
