Photograph caption dated September 22, 1955 reads, "Turning time backwards in fashion and autos are, left to right, Gwen and Tom Powels of Reseda, and Edna and Frank Raynor of Van Nuys, members of Southern California Classic Car Club, as they prepare for week end trip to Lake Arrowhead. Event will be Sept. 24 and 25. Prizes will be awarded for most authentic costumes of late twenties and best restored cars."
