Description
The Frasinetti Winery was founded in 1897 by James Frasinetti, who emigrated from Italy, bringing with him the “Old World” winemaking process. Originally using horse-drawn wagons to transport wine, the winery shipped as far away as the East Coast. The winery sold wine in its restaurant in the old"East Wine Cellar," while holding banquets and weddings. This 1940 photograph shows a Frasinetti Winery van transporting wine.
