Photograph caption dated October 7, 1959 reads "The 150 employes (sic) of Valley Presbyterian Hospital have pledged minimum of $12,000 toward the current building campaign, Shown here is hospital administrator Henry X. Jackson receiving pledges of, from left, Eddie Reyez, Mrs. Robertine Schofield, Archie Tatian and Mrs. Susan Demsher. Public is urged to support drive for final $600,000 to complete four-story addition to established 63-bed hospital at 15107 Vanowen St., Van Nuys."
