Description: A few weeks before his one year anniversary of being in office, Governor Pat Brown hosted a Christmas Party in December 1959. He celebrated in style with a Mexican pinata. This is a photo of Governor Pat hitting a pinata with a mop. In this picture, employees Alice Jones, Alex Pope, Bonnie Carmach, Ann Owens, Carole Crapo, Sally, Bernice, Ruth, Phyllis and Joyce.
