Image of a blank military certificate with three vignettes of American Civil War military scenes: Union soldiers marching with fife, drum, and American flag, soldiers manning a cannon, and troops on foot and on horseback march down a road past a grave marked "Grave of the Brave" as an African-American woman, man and boy with dog look on.
Date supplied by cataloger based on printer history and dates of American Civil War; Gibson & Co. moved to Elm Street in 1868. "Lith. by Gibson & Co. 123 Main St. Cincinnati."--text, bottom left margin.
