Description
Photograph of an interior view of the Securities First Savings Bank on the corner of Fourth Street and Spring Street in Los Angeles, 1909. The interior is lavishly decorated with marble walls and carved rectangular posts holding up the high ceilings. At right, a low marble wall surrounds a sitting area with several wooden desks and a leather couch. Mirrors line the right side of the room, and a large lamp hangs from the ceiling at center. A spittoon is visible at left, while a telephone can be seen in the foreground at right.
