Photograph of a view of the intersection of Fourth Street and Spring Street in Los Angeles, showing decorations for the Olympics, 1932. Highrise buildings line each side of the street that runs through the center of the image. Flags and banners for various countries and bearing the Olympic rings hang in rows above the street, with the nearest row including a banner which reads "XII Olympiad. 1932". Striped Olympic banners hang on the streetlights along the left side of the street as well. Pedestrians walk along the paved street at the left of the image, while automobiles are parked along it on the right. The "Hotel Stowell" sits in the extreme left centerground, while a tower for KRKD is visible in the background.
