Large crowds line the street as a parade celebrates the 1928 Pacific Southwest Exposition in Long Beach. Women in white overalls and hats hold cantaloupes as they stand on a flatbed truck decorated with flags and signs that proclaim "J. Spano Fruit and Produce", and "#1 cantaloupe tonight from Imperial Valley, Sunshine Land". The parade is passing the Hoodenply Drug Co. which is advertising Chancellor and Corina cigars and Kodad film.
