Photograph article dated May 24, 1962 reads, "Ten-year-old David Keen of Reseda leaned forward in his chair and revealed his calculated plan to earn $1.50. His mother and young friend, Ricky Bennett, 9, sat nearby as he unveiled his design for making enough money to buy a bicycle. David's parents bought him a bicycle when he was only 6 years old but said he would have to buy the second one himself. They wanted to impress upon him the value of money." Pictured are David Keen (sitting) with Ricky Bennett just behind him.
