Description
Portrait of Michael Wornum (in hat), along with Dean Meyer. Michael Wornum was born in London and mnoved to California at a young age. He was elected to the Mill Valley City Council, starting in 1960, and served for eight years, including two terms as Mayor. He was then elected to the Marin County Board of Supervisors and in 1974 won a seat in the state Assembly, winning again in 1976 but losing his seat in 1980. He was then appointed to the California Coastal Commission and also began serving on the Larkspur City Council, where he also eventually became mayor.
