Description
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Murphy and "Jiggs" in front of their new home on Peck Avenue, Manhattan Beach, on September 21, 1929. The Murphys chose this place largely because they thought "Jiggs" would delight in its yard, lawn and open spaces. But, alas and alack, the dog is afraid of grass and bewildered at outdoor California after having spent his entire life in a 22nd floor apartment in New York.
