Description: A circa-1880 image shows Anthony Egl, a member of Union Lodge No 58, which was chartered in 1855 as one of the first Freemasonry Lodges in Sacramento. Egl was treasurer for the Lodge in the 1860s and 1870s and was a Master Mason by 1882. Anthony Egl died in 1886.
