Description: Undoubtedly the most fabulous gathering of femine pulchritude in the entire world, here are 71 girls from all over the United States and many foreign nations as they lined up for their first swim-suit picture of the annual "Miss Universe" pageant held in Long Beach. Tomorrow they ride their individual floats in a big parade on the Beach City streets, and next Friday is the big day, when Miss Universe is crowned. Photo dated: July 14, 1956.
