Description
A young woman, identified as Irma B. Williams, stamps the trade mark on avocados at the Avocado Growers' Association, Union Wholesale Terminal Market, located on Central and Seventh. There are avocados stacked high on a tray in front of her, and crates full of the fruit stacked all around. The crates read, "The Famous Butter-Fruit of California", "From California Avocado Growers Exchange. Los Angeles, California", and "Calavo Brand Avocados". Similar to 00062819.
