Photograph of the Schilling residence entrance in Oakland, winter, ca.1910. Flowering plants climb up the rock wall at center wear an archway reveals the wide, gated entrance. Small, wire fences defend the rock wall on either side of the entrance. A tall tree stands over the left side of the entrance while a plant-covered portion of the house stands at the top of the wall on the right.
