Title transcribed from item. Signed on mount, "Frederick Monsen." Monsen's typed label on back says: "Excavating in Ancient Hopi burial ground. Showing natural burial. Arizona." This photograph was probably taken by Adam Clark Vroman. It appears in his album titled "11| Arizona | Gates Party | Navaho's | 1901 A. C. Vroman." (Princeton University Digital Library, AM 2003-85.).
