Description
Exterior view of Desmond's Clothing Store, the first Art Deco landmark tower on the street. While stores occupied the lower level, doctors and dentists had offices in eight-story tower. Located at 5514 Wilshire Boulevard, the Zig-Zag Moderne building was designed by architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood and built in 1928. Photograph dated May 28, 1930.
