Description
View looking down on Hollywood Boulevard at the intersection with Highland Avenue (in the foreground) in Hollywood, California, with the First National Bank Building (at the intersection at left), Bank of America, Hotel Christie, Montmarte Cafe, and J.C. Penny Co, Inc. Department Store visible on the boulevard. Signs read "Captains Courageous Freddie Bartholomew, Spencer Tracy, Lionel Barrymore," and "Miller's books stationery, art materials, office supplies, printing." Street construction can be seen next to the streetcar at bottom.

Title transcribed from negative; date devised by cataloger based on theater banner for "Captains Courageous," which opened in 1937.
