Description
Five women are depicted. The woman on the top left wears a black bonnet with pink ribbons and flowers, and a mint green dress accentuated with narrow ruffles. The woman at the top center wears a white bonnet with lace trimmings and a plume, with pink flowers inside the brim. Her blue long-sleeved dress is covered with a light brown coat trimmed with ruched edging. The woman on the top right faces away and wears a green bonnet with green ribbon, and a blue long-sleeved dress with a white lace shawl collar and white ruffled cuffs. The dress has a vine pattern on the bodice. The woman at the bottom left wears a yellow bonnet decorated with pink flowers and green leaves, and a pink pinstriped dress with small knotted trim in a row down the front. Over this she wears a deep blue coat with brown fur edging. She holds a white handkerchief. The woman on the bottom right wears a teal bonnet with pink flowers, and a blue dress. Over this she wears a light blue cloak with dark blue edging and a twining vine pattern around the edges in a darker blue. This last dress is very similar to that in plate fpc00278.
