Description
Photograph of a large piece of machinery that may have been used for flood control, ca.1910. At center is a one-story, rectangular, house-like structure with a smaller structure on the roof to the left. The structure has multiple windows and doors, and is elevated off of the ground on a wooden platform. Barrels and a large roll of rope is visible on the platform. Metal poles are visible jutting from the ground to above the structure, and form triangular shapes. Lines are visible connecting these poles, while trees are visible in the background.
