Photograph caption dated November 8, 1950 reads, "Officials of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Van Nuys, invite Drew Black, seated, to attend new Sunday school for handicapped children which begins at 3 p.m. Nov. 19. A pre-opening party for handicaped [sic] youngsters will be held Nov. 18 at St. Mark's parish. Others above, left to right, are Mrs. David R. Burbank, Mrs. Leonard Rogers and Rev. Gilbert P. Prince."
