Description
Shown in 1954 is a rendering of the 20-unit El Cortez Hotel. Resting on the Roseville Freeway and Auburn Boulevard, the motor court sat across the street from the Sacramento Municipal Golf Course. It also offered steam heat, radios, and tiled showers. The El Cortez was even recommended by the American Automobile Association, Best Western, and Duncan Hines.
