Description
SDASM Volunteer meeting with featured speaker, Ralph Kling (USAFR retired). This 57 minute presentation by Mr. Kling is a history lesson the US Air Corps use of the P-47 in a ground attack roll and predecessor of the Forward Air Controller concept. The 1Lt Kling was shot down by ground fire in September 1944 and was sent to Stalag Luft 3 as a POW. He was repatriated in April 1945. This is his personal story of WW2.
