Description
A woman wears a pale blue dress with a fitted bodice and long narrow sleeves with yellow trimmed cuffs. The skirt is floor length and edged with three different garland designs: the uppermost is yellow with red, trumpet-shaped flowers; the middle garland is made of large pink roses; and the garland along the hem is made of small pink roses. Her shoes are yellow and pointed, and she wears a white shawl trimmed in red stripes tied around her shoulders. A blue and yellow ruffle marks the joining of her skirt and bodice, and she carries a closed yellow fan in her left hand. She wears a soft, tilted dark gray hat with a white ribbon decorated with yellow flowers at the crown. The crown is heightened with a spray of lace edged with pink roses. Further decorations include three yellow plumes, a yellow rosette trimmed with two stalks of wheat, and a short, white veil at the back. She either has her hair powdered, or wears a gray, curled wig, and has a beauty mark on her cheek.
