Description
Photograph of two men standing beside a wooden triangular structure surrounded by derricks, 1904. A triangular structure made of several wooden planks stands at center, and a man facing left leans against it. Behind him stands another man with his arms on his hips. Across them stands the "central power unit of a jack line pumping 545 km." In the rightmost foreground, a wooden ladder leads up into what appears to be a tank. A plume of smoke spews from a smoke stack right of center. Wooden derricks dot the distance alongside the tops of trees. Also, see CHS-1276.
