KPFA program including recording of the State College Trustees Committee Meeting during the ‚unrest problem‚ on state campuses related to student activism (including the TWLF). The board members and faculty discuss resolutions. A resolution read by Humboldt State member says that the administration is ‚authorized to use maximal use of police forces‚ to deal with ‚extremists.‚ If the trustees do not rescind the resolution passed December 9, there is a threat of a strike, at least at SF State. Meanwhile, there was currently an AFT picket line protesting the recent actions of the Board of Trustees, including the December 9th decision, and the disciplinary action against student demonstrators. There seems to be a lack of understanding between the board and the students and faculty members who speak against them. The Pill and the Puritan Ethic: Preview of the symposium (of the same name) during which the panel, made up of Janet Schafer, Dr. Lowenstein, Paul Goodman, and Reverend and Mrs. Miller. These parents discuss how they raised their children; specifically how they teach them about sex.
