Behind it, a large crowd of men in suits and hats is gathered, facing towards a platform at center. A sign over the platform reads: "C. G. Willis & Sons Contractors Los Angeles". A row of palm trees is visible in the background at left, while two tall buildings can be seen further in the distance.
