Description: Caption from January 23, 1976 Sacramento Bee reads "Groups favoring and opposing the three-year-old U.S. Supreme Court ruling that made abortion legal in this country gathered on different sides of the State Capitol yesterday. At left above, the Rev. Edwin Walker, rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in San Francisco, adresses an anti-abortion rally on the Capitol's west steps, where about 500 persons gathered for a rally sponsered by the Pro-Life Council of Northern California."
