Description
Collection of women's calling cards on which are written short greetings on the occasion of a handkerchief shower held for Elaine Boeger. Many of the women have crossed out their titles and married names to leave only their first names, then written their messages on the cards. One of the cards is typed, "Now that you are soon to be most 'happy ever after' you'll need a hankie for the tears that spring from joy and laughter."
