Description
Two Navajo girls leaning on a large rock.
Signed twice: on print, (slightly cropped), "Frederick I. Monsen, Copyright 1901" and on mount: "Frederick Monsen." Title supplied by cataloger. Monsen's typed label on back says: "The Navajo Indians are scattered over a 25,000 square mile reservation in Arizona and New Mexico. The region is a desert with a general altitude of over 6,000 feet above sea level."
