Description
This circa 1940 postcard shows the library at Sacramento Junior College, located at 3835 Freeport Boulevard. Located on the south side of the quadrangle, the library was built in 1936 for 124,000 dollars, most of the funding coming from the Public Works Administration. When complete, it could seat up to 500 students and included museum rooms and two reading rooms.
