Description: Saltmarsh dodder, a parasitic plant that grows and feeds on wetland plants, growing on a bed of alkali seaheath in the Morro Bay salt marsh. The yellow patches are the places that the saltmarsh dodder has wrapped its yellow vines around the seaheath.
