Description
Left to right: John and Melda Ludlow, with sons Condrad and Lynn. (Excerpted from Melda Schwab Ludlow online obituary.) John taught music to generations of students in Mill Valley. Melda was a writer, editor, poet and founder of the Tamalpais Writers Workshop in Mill Valley. Conrad was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet and San Francisco Ballet, and later a professor of dance at the University of Utah. Lynn taught journalism at San Francisco State and worked as a reporter and editor at the San Francisco Examiner, San Jose Mercury and Marin Independent Journal.
