The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. Looking from West 4th Street towards the Crocker Tower, later the Wells Fargo Center, the KPMG Tower, and the California Plaza in the Bunker Hill district of Downtown Los Angeles. The Wells Fargo Tower on South Grand Avenue was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and completed in 1982. Photograph dated October 1986.
